2. Scope

This policy applies to the Itineris mobile application (package: com.choferes.app), intended for drivers who track routes and passengers.

3. Data we collect

3.1 Location

• Type: Precise location (GPS) in foreground and background.
• Purpose: Route tracking, sending positions to the backend to coordinate with passengers.
• Legal basis: Contract performance (provision of transport services).
• Retention: Data is sent to the server and processed according to the service operator's policy.

3.2 Authentication

• Google account: For sign-in with Google Sign-In.
• Supabase: Email, profile data and session stored securely.
• Purpose: Driver identification and access to assigned routes.

3.3 Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

• Type: Device token for receiving notifications.
• Purpose: Trip alerts, location requests, route-related messages.
• Provider: Google Firebase (see Google Privacy Policy).

3.4 Usage data (internal logging)

The app may log usage events locally (e.g., screens visited) to improve the service. This data is not shared with third parties except as indicated in this policy.

• Credentials are stored securely (expo-secure-store).
• We do not store passwords in plain text.
